Ijango Vaseline Incident – Play Him Off Keyboard Cat!

When I first read the comment from Brent about the Vaseline commercial played at the iJango brainwashing event in Las Vegas, I thought it was a joke.  IveTriedThat.com  recently posted his report if you want to read it without having to sift through my comments section.  It’s pretty funny!

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw someone had actually posted footage of this incident on the Youtubes!  I believe this is definitely something worthy of being played off by Keyboard Cat!

(yes I edited this for comedic effect. Here is where you can see the raw footage.)

Ah, that’s painfully awkward to watch. Thanks for the link back though!

  2. StayAway Says:

    Oh man.

    Epic fail all over.

LOL @ his speech about Netflix. ‘People want entertainment now!’ right which is why Netflix has WATCH IT NOW

  3. Joe Says:

Dude! how did you get your cat to do that? I sat mine at the keyboard for over an hour and the stupid thing just looked at me. Kept trying to wander off until I stapled him to the bench. But he still didn’t play.

  4. Melissa Says:

You guys on Click Snipers did a great job researching iJango – silly name, pyramid scheme – and i was wondering if you could help with another shady vendor. Have you heard of Tax Masters? They are also based in Texas and are also under investigation. However, they’ve duped many people – who are fighting tax issues with the IRS – by charging them and never doing the work. Last September, they charged me $2500 to do some back taxes and NEVER DID THEM. Because I signed a contract, I can’t get my money back and they won’t do the work. Its hugely frustrating, and they keep getting away with it. Google Tax Masters and Scam. Amazing what comes up.

  5. JustSimpleFacts Says:

Well there is some compassion in their underlying message … at least they offered vaseline before the big group BAM!

  6. Ijango Says:

here’s a blog post about it

  7. Achy Breakey Heart Says:

    Hey David,

Why are you pages for Part I and Part II being redirected to other sites?

    WTF?

  8. K Mitch Says:

Did they bribe you to redirect those pages? You were doing everyone a HUGE public service. Man, what a shame. These parasites are going to get over on everyone.

  9. Just Babbling Says:

    David,

Why are your pages being redirected? I hope this is fixed as you are providing a significant contribution to minimizing the number of people duped by the iJango scam.

Cameron Barett Stone Sharpe is pond scum and needs to be exposed. Look at his new website – he is now a “Leadership Developer”.

  10. Probuilder Says:

Ive been on the net for over 20 years and totally saw this comming but I guess David you put the blinders on all these people just like you wanted to, fueled the fire, got your page rank 1 google for two links, redirect.. very simple, smart, any internet marketer with a little knowledge would have seen this comming but everybody was so cought up in the moment… of “ijango being a scam”..

LOL… now you scammed the world! Pretty funny actually if you ask me…

Use a little reverse psychology marketing, get everybodies panties in a bunch, redirect….LOL…

Instant profit, you get nice traffic for the next month or so until your links fall off…LOL…

Ha ha everybody who participated. Ive been telling you all along :)

    Have a great night..

Oh yeah and by the way my ijango business is doing very well thank you!

  11. StayAway Says:

    Probuilder:

    You seem stupid.

  12. AK Says:

How come “ijango Scams part1 and part2″ comments button when clicked goes some other website “kiva” or “travel agency”

I think your site is hacked. It is been like this for past 3 days

  13. ed Says:

i think he said something about doing this because ijango is pretending to donate money to non profits.

not sure I understand the reason for it, but anywhoo.

    probuilder.

    Get a life.

  14. ed Says:

    oh yeah hey probuilder.

look at what is now ranking number 3 for the word… ijango.

    hahaha.

  15. Probuilder Says:

Oh trust me im following this extremely close… will be interesting to see what happens….

  16. Just Babbling Says:

Yet more confirmation directly from Google Public Relations that puts to rest any claimed associations iJango has with Google. Legal action has commenced against the “Center of the Online Universe”.

Public relations departments have been contacted for Yahoo, Microsoft, eBay and Amazon, all who have been claimed in iJango conferences and in presentations as partners. iJango will be fast grasping for it’s last breath.

Message from Google Public Relations below. Note their link to warning signs to look for, all which iJango uses to lure people into the Cameron Sharpe money-making scam.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

As you suspected, Google is not in any way affiliated with iJango. Our Legal team has been notified, and they will proceed with the appropriate action.

Great confirmation of the scam company iJango and Cameron Sharpe.

    http://www.mlmhelpdesk.com/2009/08/20/mlm-scam-review-ijango-investigated-by-cbs-news-and-the-bbb-for-fraud/

CAMERON SHARPE APPEARS TO HAVE MADE SOME FALSE CLAIMS ABOUT ALLIANCES. LEGAL AFFAIRS FROM iTUNES, RHAPSODY, MICROSOFT, YAHOO, eBAY AND GOOGLE ARE NOW PURSUING LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST iJANGO. CBS IS ALSO WATCHING THEM AND WILL LIKELY HAVE AN EXPOSE’ SOON.

FOR THOSE THAT HAVE READY GIVEN THEIR SSN AND CREDIT CARD # TO JASON, GOOD LUCK RECOVERING IT. AS CAMERON HIMSELF SAID, “WE HAVE THE BEST MLM ATTORNEYS RETAINED”.

  18. Just Babbling Says:

Direct message below from Google Public Relations – there is NO ALLIANCE b/w iJango and Google.

  19. Scam Alert Says:

Posted on MLM Blog from someone watching iJango:

“The site is not developed. Maybe 10% developed. They are claiming the site is in Beta mode. BS. They new the site did’t work when it launched. Cameron was lying through his teeth in Vegas.

Now the BBB has uncovered some of the truth. The truth is the Cameron Sharpe owns the the domain name Ijango.com. Since iJango will not release info on the partnerships between iJango and its affiliates, there is a 99% chance the the affiliate agreements are with Cameron Sharpe. What does the mean? Cameron would control all monies flowing into iJango through its affiliate programs. Think about it. Cameron could skim off the top, give iJango through a legal agreement less than the actual commissions, then still get a check as an outside consultant. This is where the deception possibly lies.

Steve Smith said today that the possibility that they can get the BBB to retract their report is 50/50. Thats because Cameron Sharpe has the agreements and not iJango.

Oh, did I also mention that Steve Smith put his girlfriend as the top International Rep that way all director signups flow through her (what I was told from my upline).

These statements are the best of my understanding as to what has actually transpired and in no way should be construed as factual. (My release of liability).

I think there could possibly be a class action lawsuit here against iJango and its board. Maybe you directors that are on the fence need to think about what is happening and not be afraid to speak up.”

  20. K Mitch Says:

Just got this from Marty Hale of iJango …

“If you go to google and search ijango you will notice that the clicksniper
guy is no longer there. You will notice new BBB releases soon as Midland is
the first that is going to issue a retraction. Many other TV station’s
investigative reporters have also decided there is nothing to investigate.
You will see much positive out there soon!

Aren’t you glad you hung in there? Every great idea that comes to fruition,
every company that breaks records, every extraordinary opportunity receives
criticism before it’s credited with greatness.”

  21. Probuilder Says:

This will be my last post Im getting really sick of addressing people calling anything a scam…

Plus I just read a few articles about the BBB – One was that the BBB 49 presidents are signing some type of letter to tell the president to hurry up and give the autodealers there money for cash for clunkers. (personally they just need to mind there own fricken business if you ask me… sounds like a bunch of old retired people who have nothing better to do than sit around and see who they can harass next) – No offense anybody it just pisses me off…

Another article saying that businesses have been getting “F” ratings from the BBB because they didn’t become a member of the BBB? What? So im not a member your going to give me an “F” last time I checked this was america and I have the freedom to choose what I wanted to do. Am I right? Just curious… Ok so Here is the scam that I see… pay us or we are going to give you an “F” rating and pressure you into becoming a member…

As far as the two links above this one… the news just goes with what ever the public wants to hear. If its negative and they can get a few extra rating points they are going to show it. Thats why I stopped watching the news. Got sick of hearing who got murdered, who was going to jail, who killed who.. Gets old after a while…

Keep watching the news.. They got ahold of the BBB’s records… 1000 inquiries about ijango, 3 complaints that the site was slow….

Nothing more, no scam, no this and no that like everybody is posting… Not hundreds like they said.. just “3″ (sites slow).. Boo Hoo… a site was slow for a day.. shame on us.. sorry we are human…

The BBB will soon be posting a retraction or upgrading there rating.. what ever.. to be honest I really dont care anymore. Im sick of reading all the false scam reports, everybody trying to prove to everybody else that it is or isnt..

Guys I dont care anymore!! Do your du diligence…Out of the over 100 hours I put into just doing research on ijango to find out if it was a scam or not… I found out alot of stuff.

The number one thing I found…. people are stupid and will post anything without any real facts or proof…

Ok im already getting board with this post.. If you think its a scam…. stay away, dont signup, go away, go do something else.. dont just copy and paste crap all over the net..

If you want to try it, signup…

I can guarantee you things are going to be changing really quickly here…

Im already seeing the people that started all this crap about ijango backing out and saying… OOps maybe I was wrong..OOps maybe there wasnt really 1000’s of compaints…OOPS..OOPS…

Im not suprised.. I new it all along… especially when I saw posts such as “i failed at ijango”., “I tried it and lost all my money”.. and they were dated weeks before the launch.

One was funny… “I tried ijango and went completely broke”, maybe some of you guys read that one… Ok how is $150 going to completely break you when ijango wasnt available to anybody at the time of post…

anyway Keith thanks for the blog, its been fun, Im going back to do what I do best and thats promote sites. Im done playing everybodies game of here look at this…. no look at this… no its like this… no its this… ok I got it.. here is the link..

who cares people, do something better with your time. Find a hobby, go take your kids out.. something..

The cameron sharp thing is done.. he is not affiliated with ijango anymore.. so all you guys who are still posting old news… ok, thats old news… BLA BLA BLA scam artist BLA BLA.. BLA take all your money BLA BLA BLA.. Does not apply anymore…

    Alright much success to all..
    Have a great day…
    Probuilder

P.s. Keep up on current news and if ijango does happend to be a legit company (which I think it is) why dont all you guys do and post some positive stuff… the world needs more positive people and positive stuff to read.. You would be amazed how your kharma can change just by trying to be positive and nice once in a while…

  22. Probuilder Says:

Incase you guys like to read here you go:
http://www.mechanicsresponds.com/ (read and scroll to bottom)

I had about 30+ links just like this here but this site found it spammy. Im not trying to spam.. just showing you guys there is 2 sides to every story and you know what this is not my point of view. Its people just like you who commented not me:)

    Thanks

  23. Carl Skan Says:

Another card the house is built of fell, Linkshare has dropped Ijango.

  24. StayAway Says:

    BAM

  25. ed Says:

    ROFL.

  26. stayaway Says:

I read the Texas Attorney General is looking into ijango already?

    BAM BAM

  27. ed Says:

    Didn’t take long.

ijango has lost both adsense and the bulk of their ppa network (linkshare)

they’ve revamped their site a little. It does look a little better IMO.

now they are using some webfirm, which used to be ansearch.

all of their standard search results are now ppc, but they are not getting ANY MONEY from people who click out to google, yahoo, or bing.

….we’ll see how long that relationship lasts.

btw, i searched for the phrase “search engine”.

charlotte SEO showed up at the top of the list.

    go figure.

  28. ed Says:

    let me rephrase.

    webfirm used to be ansearch.

they are using some weird search engine name that is owned by webfirm.

it’s an australian outfit, but i’m not sure where they are generating their network from…probably a combination of MIVA and yahoo pub network.

  29. emma Says:

Welcome back David Kyle! I am amazed at what you have accomplished in a few short months. You are intelligent, articulate, well-written and clearly an SEO/SEM expert with the integrity to keep the “craft” above board. Kudos. You are a rock star in my book.

  30. Dennis Yu Says:

    David,

This is hilarious and sad at the same time. But I say forget about the charlatans and let’s focus on helping the millions of small businesses that really need us right now!

    Dennis

  31. ed Says:

    hmmm

    can’t beat them…then join them.

ijango is now a whitepaged version of netvibes., but you can then flip it to “classic” and search google.

    wow.

    what a concept!

now they are trying to atract users using a watered down version of the bing cashback program. (i’m sure they won’t be paying 8 percent of ebay buy it nows, or anything near that)

so it’s white label, plus ajax api, plus marketing gimmick..

and you have to pay $20 a month to sell it?…sell what? what is their product? tell me what their product actually is?

  32. Cory Says:

Hello Clicksniper, first off there is nothing illegal about this business or this industry for that matter. You call this a ponzi pyramid scheme oooow like you know something. Tell me something in the world today that isnt on of these pyramid things… Corporate America.. lets see.. oh yes pryamid. Religion.. oh yes, pyramid once again. Government… hmm tough one… oh yes PYRAMID! Lets Stop for a second and look at that. In a pyramid or ponzi scheme the person at the top makes all the money. Well on that basis alone ijango is ruled out. I have guys under me making more than me.. gee how could this be? Look dude.. find a more respectable way to make a living. May want to give ijango a try. Ill be glad to sponsor you and teach you fact from fiction.

  33. ed Says:

    hey cory.

if you can tell me the product or service that ijango actually owns that you are selling, i will eat my shirt.

the reason its illegal is because ijango is now 100% 3rd party. they own nothing but a marketing plan.
